Hey Yall!!

Over the past few months I have done some serious soul searching and praying about where my career hopefully will take me one day. Most of you know that I have gone back to school for Interior Design at Lamar, and with all my previous classes I should be able to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in the spring of 2013! I know it will get here quickly…which is exactly what I am hoping for!

Kason has been without a doubt the most supportive husand and best friend and is 100% my biggest fan, he continually consoles me when I feel like I need to provide more of a “steady” income as in attempting a job on top of school, my current business, teaching dance, and all of my other daily “duties”… instead he continues to push me to focus on school and get through with my degree, and concentrate on my weddings and events…plus he wants me to be famous and rich so he can retire early! 🙂

That being said, I have also done some growing up in the business department…Ive entrusted some professional friends with their opinion on how I am presenting myself to prospective clients and other vendors, mainly with my current business name…Whimsical Creations by Tamara.

I’ve been strugglng with it, I feel that it doesnt completely represent who I am (as a business), who I want to be (professionally) nor does it tell the YOU (the world) I am serious buisiness with a true passion for design.

I eventually want to have my own design firm incorporating interior design throughout the week, and still continue to do wedding design and set-ups on the weekends…

Yes I have big dreams, and no these dreams are not all of them…they are only the beginning of my lengthy list of what I anticipate that God has planned for my career.

sooo…after numerous hours of throwing back and forth different options I have finally settled on…

I had it designed by the same business that designed all of my WCBT (Corporate Avenue Designs), and I completely 100% feel that my new business name and design captures exactly who and what I am!

*** Current brides, please do NOT worry, nothing changes for you as far as contracts or “behind the scenes”, this is only a new name and “look” for my business!

I am sooo incredibly thankful to my Lord and Savior, He has blessed me with 9 weddings and events so far for 2011 and

I know He will continue to bless my business.

I want to not only thank my loving husband and family, but also Sarah e. Evans, Ashley Behn, and Allen Ayres for

ALL your help and advice. I truly value yall’s professional opinion on this decision, and Allen thanks so much for setting up my new blog!

New facebook page will be up shortly, so be on the lookout for it!

Thank yall so much for all of your support and love and patience during this transition!
