We’re doing kettlebell swings today! These are great upper and lower body exercise, and you can easily purchase one at your local sports store or my personal favorite Target! It will even get your heart rate up a bit too, we like to call that the bonus round.

It works your legs in the start position because you are doing a squat, while swinging the kettlebell between your feet to get momentum for your arms to go over your head.

It works your upper body because you have to use that area to control the weight of the kettlebell to swing it up keeping your arms straight.

Your finish position includes straightening your legs, and your arms close to theĀ  1 or 2 o’clock area, not all the way to your temples because your shoulders are no longer engaged and working.
