Our world is crazy right now, and has been for what seems like so long that it honestly feels normal somehow now. What is the saying? That it only takes a two weeks to form a new habit?

Anyway, for Christmas I got K a photography 101 class with our friends Rachel Driskell Photography and John Mansfield of All Heart Photography. K had showed interest in photography sometime last year so I thought he would enjoy it. He also found a great deal for a new Cannon Rebel on Ebay from a college kid who bought it for one semester so it was basically brand new.

I got the idea to create a video of Kerrington and I putting together tablescapes from locally grown flowers from Basecamp Farms in College Station, Texas and then the rest of everything we used was from our own home.

K took the opportunity to work on practicing with his camera!

All images are from Kason! (I took a shot at helping him brainstorm business names. “K man’s photog biz.” He wasn’t a fan. 🙂

How did he do?! If you want to see our IGTV video we created, head over to our Instagram @tamaramenges!

What have y’all found joy in doing during quarantine?!
