Happy Saturday yall!

What a beautiful day it is today! We have completed a 3 part branding webinar with Making Brands Happen, and boy oh boy do we have some amazing things planned for TMD in 2013! God is opening our eyes and doors to so much excitement! More on that later though!

Today, I wanted to share our booth display that we designed for our first Houston wedding show!

Since we are Southern at heart, our concept was “Gone With The Wind”, complete with a place setting for both Rhett and Scarlett!

Special thanks to Occasions in Nederland for providing our underlay ivory satin linen, the gold chivari chairs, and the tall iron piece that they just added to their inventory (they have 6 of these beauties y’all! -perfect for aisle markers!)

Using, emerald (Color of the year), we knew we wanted to play off Scarlett’s infamous barbecue dress! Unfortunately, after many hours of searching for a linen or even fabric that resembled her dress, we had no luck! So we painted our own overlay! It was satin fabric and acrylic craft paint, and we finished the edge off with gold fringe!

Special thanks to The Perfect Touch for the emerald napkins, and sashes!

Special thanks to Glenda Little of Dressy Designs for providing our menus and place cards!

The husband is lighting our candles, he was ready to get the show started!

We made a lot of great connections to many brides, and received a lot of compliments on our display as well! I love how it turned out and that it stayed true to my personal style, timeless and classic, just like Scarlett!

Until next time yall!

xoxo, Tamara
