Hi there!

We are kicking off something new today, Design Thursday! Each week, the day before our beloved Friday, we will be featuring various design projects. It may be a recent wedding, a fun flower arrangement, or interior decorating projects. Basically, anything that we have had our hand in designing!

Today we are kicking it off with a super quick and easy bathroom update.

Last weekend, husband went off to work and as he kissed me goodbye for the day he said “have a great day!” Well let’s just say I got busy with a re-tiling project (coming soon to Design Thursday!) and this make-over.

I started with a bright, white fresh wall color. Our bathroom is fairly small, so keeping it white keeps it light and airy.

I found my most favorite ever shower curtain at Marshall’s with the most perfect soft aqua (my signature color y’all!) I also found a set of rugs the exact same color.

Next I headed off to Lowe’s to find paint color that would provide a pop of color behind the mirror.

I repurposed the cross from our living room and also spray painted it gold to give it new life. Kind of like how Jesus did by dying on the cross for us (can I get an Amen!)

I love my small scripture card that I tape up on our mirror as a reminder to be the best wife I can be each day.

I’m not a jewelry box kind of girl, so I had this footed vessel in my inventory and thought it was perfect to catch jewelry and bobby pins.

And there ya have it! Just needed a small pint sized paint can, a new shower curtain, and rugs. I already had aqua towels that pulled it all together!
