Hey yall!

So heres how it happens…Im just going about a normal day running the roads or in class (when I should be listening) or laying in bed at night, and it hits me! My next crazy idea for either a shoot design concept or in this case an “Idea gallery” table for the Southeasttexasweddings.com Fall Preview…

“Mid Summer Nights Dream”, yes the Shakespeare play. I rented the older movie about the play with Michelle Pfeiffer in order to get inspiration on a design direction, but sadly couldn’t make it through half of it! It a little more “out there” even for me! So I began to just brainstorm based on what I think Midsummer Nights Dream represents.

Butterflies, moss, lots of chiffon, bold colors, and red hair…                                                   are the main elements I felt would portray my vision.

Sarah (e. Evans) and I were planning yet another fabulous styled shoot to submit for publication and we thought it would be fun to stage some “bridal” portraits for her to display on our idea table at the wedding preview.

How fabulous are the colors! The brightly colored chiffon I found in New York as well as the butterflies that we had all over our “bride”. In Sarah’s yard was this fabulous tree and Sarah suggested we put our “bride” up there! (There was a ladder, a husband and many others involved in getting her up there to create this shot!!)

Ashly Black owner of Something Beautiful Hair and Make-up did a fabulous job with some crazy hair and make-up!

You might be asking, why the heck is there a chair in that tree?! Well thats the result of one of my “ideas” I told yall about! Its a simple wooden $15 find at an antique store that I glued green sheet moss all over, and added some brightly colored silk to the back!

Here is how our fabulous “idea gallery” table turned out!

Glenda Little owner of Dressy Designs provided out fabulous invitations and let me borrow the super cute large mossy butterflies!

For the floral I kept with the color scheme of the purples and green and added some butterflies into it as well!

Sometimes you just have a little fun in life right?!

We make a great team! Huh?!

Gob Bless!- Tamara
