Merry almost Christmas yall!

I love Christmas time so much! The story of Jesus’ birth never gets old and always makes me teary-eyed!

Back last year, my curiosity was sparked by Weddings in Houston magazine, and I wanted to figure out how I could get my name in the magazine. After meeting with an awesome rep Ashra, I knew I had to walk out out on faith and make a seemingly large investment for the future of Tamara Menges Designs. I just felt like God was leading me to this, and He provided a way for me to be able to make this investment.

I can’t even count on all my fingers and toes the opportunities that have come about because I trusted Him in this decision!

One of which is VERY exciting, but I will share that with yall later! (after a certain magazine comes out in the beginning of January!)

However, today’s story is about my dear friends Terilyn and Koby Brown of Archetype Studio Inc.

Somehow, they found my facebook page, and wanted to rent a chair that I had posted on my website for a photo shoot, they even drove all the way to Beaumont to pick it up! I remember being so nervous, I mean HOUSTON photographers were following MY page, and wanted to meet ME!

Anyway long story short, and fast forward just a bit we have now worked together on numerous photo shoots, from our amazing “Literary Romance” that was featured on Style Me Pretty , to J’Adore shoots, to birthday party shoots (wait til you see those!), to anniversary parties, I know one of God’s plans for me both personally and professionally was to meet this awesome couple!

Terilyn graciously shot some images for me for a “behind the scenes” shoot, as I wanted to show a casual side of me “in my element” which is floral and styling projects! Leave Terilyn some love on here!
