Well hi there y’all!
What a journey this has been! I have been working on this post for weeks, simply because it is hard to put into words what this post truly means. The time has finally come to launch the brand spankin’ and bright sparklin’ new Tamara Menges Designs!
Oh I am just giddy with excitement y’all!
Hours and hours of work, tons of brainstorming, and a whole bunch of heart and soul have gone into my new brand. A brand that is 100% authentic to who I am, who I want to be, and who I will strive to be daily.
Some of you know that I have had the summer free. A summer that I thought was going to be spent in New York City. Even though I honestly thought that was God’s plan, His real plan was so much better. It always is.
The past 10 weeks have been full of life, full of ambition, full of goal-setting, and most importantly full of seeking a more intimate relationship with God. Those that know me know I am a person who has to stay busy, has to continually be doing something, and have my hand in some sort of project. I am self-admittedly addicted to chaos and the stress of “how to get it all done”.
But God’s plan, the best plan, was for me to learn that what I truly want in life is the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted. The opposite of being so stressed out to get everything done on my to-do list that I can’t see straight. What I want is a full life, a life full of love, full of dreams, full of risks, full of creativity, but with some rest thrown in. Rest for my soul so that I can enjoy what God has given me: a husband who loves me more than words, a Father in Heaven who longs for a closer relationship, a business that is thriving with amazing brides and opportunities, a home that is truly a home, and a heart that is on fire for encouraging others.
Several months ago, I made the best investment to date. I signed up for the Making Brands Happen webinar with Lara Casey and Emily Ley. It was a 3-part webinar, and if I had to put a number to how many ideas I got it would have to be in the hundreds! We had tons of homework that was truly invaluable.
The new TMD is the result of a lot of soul-searchin’, deep-diggin’, brainstormin’, and just plain doin’. I could not be more in love with every aspect. The amazing KD Creative is responsible for our oh-so-beautiful website and blog. Since my former “website” was basically just a blog, I’m like a kid in a candy store y’all!
Every single word, image, detail was so thought out, it would make your head spin if you knew how many hours of contemplation went into it! Thank you so much Katie for putting up with me!
So with a full heart I say welcome. Welcome to the new Tamara Menges Designs. I hope you like it, ’cause I sure love it!
